"The Birthing Of A New Generation" Strait Way Ministries, Inc. was established in 1984 by our beloved Overseer Letha Mae Ford-Butler, now wife of Co-Overseer Arthur Butler. With only a handful of members, mostly family, this ministry of great birthing emerged out of rural Utica, MS. |
| Since its
birth, Strait Way has blossomed into a work, with an unprecedented number of believers who
travel from around the state of Mississippi, Louisiana and Missouri to be
a part of a prospering ministry grounded on truth, faith, and
holiness. And because Jesus is not dead, but yet alive; so is Strait
Way Ministries. In this ministry, Jesus is the center of attention
and his anointing, the main attraction. As a result, great
ministerial success has been and continues to be manifested in this work.
Strait Way has tremendously grown since its birth in 1984. It has given Apostolic birth to four other churches: The Full Gospel Church in Union, MS (Pastor John & Maxine Newton); Strait Way Temple of Deliverance in Jefferson City, MO (Pastor Queen E. Ford); New Way Ministry in Canton, MS (Pastor G. L. & Katie Johnson); Vision of Hope in Ferriday, LA (Pastor Irene & Deacon Josh McGraw); a host of fellowship churches in Vicksburg, MS; Tullulah, LA ; Dothan, AL; Tuscaloosa, AL; and Outreach Ministries, such as Nursing Home and Prison Ministries in Fayette, MS. "To God Be The Glory!" |
